GROUP SNOWBOARD LESSONS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN DURING MARCH BREAK.

The March Break Mini-Shredders Camp is a 5-day program designed for 4- and 5-year-old beginner snowboarders. Each day includes a 60-minute lesson in a safe, playful, and age-appropriate environment.

This camp is a great opportunity to discover snowboarding just before the end of winter, in a fun and well-supervised setting. A perfect way to enjoy March Break while getting ready for next season!

The Snow School will assign participants to groups based on their age and ability level. For those who have never taken lessons at Mont Rigaud, you may share relevant information about the child’s experience in the Comments section during registration.

PROGRAM DETAILS

• Duration: 5 consecutive days
• Dates: March 2 to 6, 2026
• Available times: 8:45 a.m., 10:00 a.m. or 11:15 a.m.
• Lesson length: 60 minutes per day
• Skill levels taught: Penguin (1) and Panda (2) only
• Lift access: included during lessons

REQUIREMENTS

• Ages: 4 or 5 years old
• No prior snowboarding experience required
• Helmet strongly recommended

AVAILABLE EXTRAS

• 5-Day Pass (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.): exclusively for camp participants, includes access to all chairlifts (quadruple Doppelmayr, quadruple Poma Express, Emmegi carpet and Sunkid carpet), alpine ski trails, and alpine touring trails.
• 5-Day Equipment Rental: includes snowboard, boots and helmet. Must be picked up on December 26 at least 60 minutes before the first lesson, and returned after the final lesson on December 30.

Any change to the registration before the program starts will incur a $25 administrative fee and is subject to availability.

No changes allowed once the camp has started. The chosen time slot applies for the entire duration of the camp.

Lift operations depend on conditions and traffic: at least one quad chairlift and one carpet lift are always open.

Refunds may be issued prior to the start of the camp without justification. After the start date, refunds are only possible on a pro-rata basis for major medical reasons or relocation, with supporting documents. All program prices include a non-refundable $25 administrative fee.

No refund, credit, or make-up lesson will be granted in case of absence, regardless of the reason.

The Snow School reserves the right to modify the schedule or cancel/reschedule a lesson. If a lesson is cancelled due to weather, it will be automatically postponed by one day at the end of the camp. It is possible for more than one class to be rescheduled in the same camp.

WEATHER – It is the responsibility of the parent or participant to check whether the mountain is open or if lessons are cancelled. No individual messages will be sent. In case of closure or cancellation, a red banner will appear at the top of the home page on our website www.montrigaud.com and a message will be posted on our Facebook page facebook.com/montrigaud.
